1943 M20 BSA 500cc Motorcycle
This was the same type of Motorcycle that Tim's Father 'Billo' rode in the war, as a dispatch rider, so when a friends father said that he had one for sale, it was a must have.The bike had been assembled over a 20 year period by Alex McPherson and his father. When we got the machine it was 99.% complete but had never been started. Adrian Moore our senior technician had owned the civilian version when he was an apprentice, so he took the machine home, dismantle the magneto and the carbie, found some missing parts, reassembly them using his experience from his own bike, and a week later we were riding it around.
