1942 Dodge WC56 Command Car Tim found this in the VMVC newsletter in 2000, on the way home from the Australian Junior Motocross Championships in Maffra, Tim & Kendall went to Mr Alan Bremners house to have a look at the vehicle, curiosity had got the better of Tim, well what a truck.Negotiations were accordingly made and a few weeks latter Tim's Cousin Chris drove the beast home. The history of the vehicle is not that well known, but it is a very original vehicle that has only ever been repainted, it has never been restored as such, and has a very original feel to it. The pride of the fleet.
The first big road trip in the Dodge Command car was to Birchip for the Anzac Day parade in 2002. |
