1941 M3 Stuart Light tank Serial #2026
PURCHASED: NOVEMBER 2002
A friend of Tim's found the Stuart underneath a tree.Tim bought it, had it sandblasted and painted.
It made its way to Kerang on a tray truck and was rolled out into the back shed. Where Adrian, our motorcycle mechanic, after 2 weeks, and 4 cans of aerostart (actually it was 'Start ya b******', aerostart equivalent) the stuart ran for the first time in 15 years.
A work still in progress, a minor oil leak was repaired a few months ago, just the final touches, paint on the makings and she is all finished.
Exterior - Very happy with what we have achieved.
Interior - the hard to find stuff, still searching, do you know of anything?
